On March 25, 2024, Miao Deyu, Assistant Foreign Minister and Director-General of the Department of Policy Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, held a new round of foreign policy planning consultation in Beijing with Manuel Lafont Rapnouil, Director of the Centre for Analysis, Planning and Strategy of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on international situation and foreign policies, global governance, and international and regional hotspot issues.
